HALL OF CATS
If you want to find out what breed is suitable for you visit Visit this popular area and chat to the various clubs regarding membership, training, etc. Also an opportunity to discuss individual needs with experts and to appreciate the important decisions to be taken when considering 'which breed'.
Don't miss the most prestigious championship cat show in the country.   Information by breeders on the various breeds and experts will be on hand to advise you on pet care and pet nutrition
Each day experts on all the breeds will be on hand to give vital advice and guidance on the temperament, characteristics and grooming, feeding and exercise requirements of the vast range of different breeds - information vital for responsible dog ownership.
Watch the website for info on the Friday event but Saturday and Sunday will feature the 5-ring Championship Show. A stunning cat show is anticipated and all the top cats in the country will be there!
HALL OF PETS (BIRDS, FISH, WATER FEATURES & KOI PONDS)

The Hall Pets, Birds & Fish offer the public the opportunity to see a different range of pets.

Lots of individual displays with representatives to assist the public with their questions.

DANCING WITH DOGS
A truly exciting and breathtaking competition. Definitely NOT to be MISSED!

An exciting innovation involving obedience work to music. The fun lies in the varied programmes of moves and the freedom to create new routines each time. Seeing is believing, so see it in the ring! The South African Dancing with Dogs Championships will be held on Saturday but all three exhibition days will feature individual displays and dancing workshops

SOUTH AFRICAN BRED INVITATIONAL BREED COMPETITION :
DOG JUMPING:
An exciting event created especially for South Africa's own "top dogs".Still one of the most exciting and entertaining events. Based on horse jumping, the dog has to negotiate a course of jumps and the dog with the least faults and within the set time allowed is declared the winner.
GROOMING
BREED SHOWING:
Grooming your pet is an extremely important aspect of responsible ownership. Come and watch the experts trimming, clipping, grooming and giving advice.Dog shows are a rewarding and social aspect of dog ownership. Many dog shows are organised around the country and The Kennel Union of S.A. will provide you with contact details for the various clubs whether it be for dog training, breed showing, dog breeders etc.
AGILITY
CARTING
The dogs love it, their owners love it and you'll love it too, so don't miss this exciting competition. This sport is great fun but does require a fit dog and handler. The sport is open to all breeds of dogs and dogs of any size can participate in the various sized categories. It focuses on the handler's ability to control and direct their dog accurately over a series of obstacles as quickly as possible. Agility is a fairly new sport in South Africa being introduced only in May 1998.

A demonstration of carting is one of the most popular displays at the show and is definitely a must for all visitors.

FLY BALL:
PARADE OF DOGS & DOGS OF THE WORLD
Flyball is certainly a fast and furious game consisting of two teams of four dogs racing against the clock. The dogs have to negotiate four hurdles before they trigger a tennis ball that they have to catch and return to the finishing line going back over the hurdles. Breeds of all shapes and sizes take part.A chance to see two informative parades of dogs within the seven Breed Groups. The one will provide an overall view of the breeds represented at the show and the other with owners dressed in traditional country of origin clothing.  An interesting and informative commentary is given on each breed as it enters the arena.
CHILD & JUNIOR SHOW DOG HANDLING
CANINE GOOD CITIZEN
These young handlers of the future are judged on their ability to show a particular breed of dog and great skill and knowledge of the various breeds is required.This test demonstrates how different types of dogs of all ages, can achieve exemplary levels of behaviour in the Bronze, Silver and Gold Classes.
PUPPY TRAINING DISPLAY

Training and socialising your new pup is vital in creating a well-behaved and confident puppy. The display will demonstrate the early stages of puppy training and socialisation.

CANINE SURVIVOR CHALLENGE 

Watch the countries most amazing dogs and handlers being put through various Canine Survivor tasks.
